How can I add a light to a specific object/s to make them looks more glow?

Question

I added kind of two eyes to the model using spheres. Colored them in blue with a material.

Now I want to make the eyes glow and then later maybe to make that the glow will be kind of beam of light that coming out from the eyes.

I tried to add to the hierarchy a Light and put it above the player tried all the kind of lights but they all light the player it self I want only the eyes.
