png终端不可用的原因是它是一个基于libgd的终端以及jpeg和gif。对于这些终端，gnuplot需要libgd版本＆gt; = 2.0。为了使其可用，您必须先安装GD Graphics Library：

然后安装gnuplot并检查png终端是否存在：

sudo apt-get install libcairo2-dev libpango1.0-dev libgd-dev
