Rmarkdown数学公式的图形标题

Question

我想在rmarkdown文档中有一个可参考的方程式。我需要在文档中添加些什么以获得编号和参考功能。

我能够放入等式，但无法显示参考标签。我也无法在线引用。也许Yaml需要更多信息吗？

 \begin{equation}\label{eq:1}
 \gamma= \alpha_(i n) - \beta_(f n+1)#reference (1) doesn't appear-->
 \end{equation}  
 This is a reference for equation \ref{eq:1}. This is not working. 

我想看的东西

γ=α(in)−β(fn+1)γ=α(in)−β(fn+1)             (1)
