Missing basic installation files while installing RedHat 7.4

I am following the Hands-on guide for Red Hat exam written by Damian Tommasino and at the very beginning, they show how to make the red hat installation. In the book, they deal with RH6 and RH5. However, I am working on a virtual machine with RH 7.4. Once the installation is done they ask to switch to root user and to check that everything is fine, one must see 3 different files when using the ls command:

  • anaconda-ks.cfg
  • install.log
  • install.log.syslog.

My problem is that I only have the anaconda-ks.cfg file and the other two are missing. Is it due to a bad manipulation during the installation process or a problem related to the RedHat version? And if it's due to the version does those missing files will change something to the learning process.
