I am trying to install Android SDK for Unity on my Mac OS. I have been doing this for whole day already and I couldn't succeed.
First I installed JAVA with brew:
brew cask install java8
Then:
brew tap caskroom/versions
Then I installed Android SDK:
brew cask install android-sdk
Also:
touch ~/.android/repositories.cfg
To avoid error after when launching androidsdk.
After, I created .bash profile and when I do:
open -e ~/.bash_profile
it opens and I have the following inside:
export JAVA_HOME=`/usr/libexec/java_home -v 1.8`
export ANDROID_HOME=/usr/local/share/android-sdk
When I go to Cask > Android SDK > Bin > sdkmanager, I get cmd like message but the UI is not opened:
/usr/local/Caskroom/android-sdk/4333796/tools/bin/sdkmanager ; exit;
Qs-MacBook-Pro:~ giorgi$ /usr/local/Caskroom/android-sdk/4333796/tools/bin/sdkmanager ; exit;
