I have installed Xampp and activated both Apache server and Mysql server on Linux manjaro. I downloaded a Sql file from our schools website to practice and test stuff etc.
In Windows I could just move the Sql file into /xampp/mysql/data and with show databases I could immediately see and use it.
In linux I found out I needed to move it to lampp/var/mysql/ but when I use show databases I cant see it. Only when I create a new folder and put it in there.
But then the database is always empty.
