跟踪数字而不是索引:

int number = -1;

for(int i = 0; i < catalogue.length; i++) {

    for (int i = 0; catalogue[i] != null; i++) {
        if (name.equals(catalogue[i].getName())) {
            return catalogue[i].getNumber();       // <--- return early if match found
        }
    }
    return -1;                                     // <--- return -1 for no match 
}

逻辑:

  • 如果名称匹配,我们将返回该数字
  • 如果没有匹配项,则返回-1

代码失败的原因是,即使找不到匹配项,您也尝试从数组catalogue返回数字。
