I recently came across a vba project protected excel file at work. Person has left the company. When I use the hex editor to search the file for DPB, it returns “can’t find DPB.” I am not sure about the next steps to take. Where do I go from here in terms of eventually unlocking the vbaproject?
I can however find DPB uploading the same file to www.onlinehexeditor.com and running a search. Clearly, I am missing something.
