您的代码包含while not input_queue.empty()。我猜在工作期间input_queue为空,而循环停止了,然后您向input_queue添加了其他内容来处理其他内容。但这已经为时已晚。

通常,您使用这样的队列:

while True:
    element = my_queue.get()
    ...
