Classic server installs a /etc/xinetd.d/firebird start script or, for older inetd systems, adds an entry to the /etc/inetd file

FirebirdSS-2.5.8.27089-0.amd64.tar.gz

./install.sh
service –status-all

输入https://www.firebirdsql.org/en/firebird-2-5/ 选择符合您的OS平台和服务器版本（Super | Classic）并下载。

解压缩并运行install.sh（“ sudo ./install.sh”）。选择一个sysdba密码。

/ opt / firebird是Ubuntu 18.04上的默认目标文件夹。
