Emacs 24有时会变慢。但它尚未发布。
您的帖子是2011/02年，这是一个旧版本。从那以后，很多都发生了变化。特别是，由于双向文本（bidi）的发展，显示引擎有很多非常大的减速。这些减速很大程度上得到了照顾。
结论：升级到最新的Emacs 24 prelease（＃2）。
