您正在使用mysql_query()两次。改变这个：

$sql = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM venu ");     
$result = mysql_query($sql) or die(mysql_error());

分为：

$sql = "SELECT * FROM venu ";     
$result = mysql_query($sql) or die(mysql_error());
