        // Client connected but not authenticated. Client has to emit to 'authenticate' for authentication

        socket.on('authenticate', function (data, fn) {
            // Authenticate socket.

            // define more events
        });

        // still accessible to unauthorised sockets
        socket.on("other-event", function(data) {

        });
});
