问题不清楚哪里出错了，所以你需要一个策略来定位问题。如果可能，请使用最新版本的R。
安装软件包时，请使用全新的会话。此外，安装到新的库位置，以便您可以准确地看到发生了什么。您可以随后将此库的内容复制到现有库中。为此，请创建一个具有写入权限的新目录（可能在您的主文件夹中）。然后，当您致电install.packages时，请使用lib.loc arguemnt安装到该位置。
不是调用install.packages("knitr")，而是逐个安装每个依赖项，以查看哪一个导致了问题。也就是说，install.packages("mime")，然后是install.packages("stringi")，依此类推。您可以在问题中查看所需的所有软件包列表（或使用packageDescription("knitr")。

面对同样的问题，在Windows环境变量中创建R_LIBS_USER对我来说很成功。
