虽然这是有道理的,但我认为它不适用于我的AssignmentDetails表,因为它是One(Assignments)to Many(AssignmentDetails)关系的Many(FK)方面,可能不是AssignmentDetails记录。
但是,对于Departments和Jobs表,它们可能是真的,因为它们是外键引用的主键表 - 应该总是有记录。但是,这仍然会破坏结果,因为如果在连接中FK位于由于左连接而为NULL的表上,则由于INNER连接而删除整个行。

我的错误。我在一个名为GetEmployees()的函数中包装此查询,该函数返回了一个iQueryable列表,并对其进行了过滤:
results = HRFunctions.GetEmployees().Where(x => x.ad != null);
因为添加了假定AD不应为null的WHERE子句,所以EntityFramework智能地将LEFT JOIN更改为INNER JOIN。
删除.Where()之后,AssignmentDetails现在是一个左连接。
