查询确实运行但对数据库没有影响

    $temp=$_POST['resitID'];

     $query="DELETE FROM resit
            WHERE resitid='$temp'";

    $result=mysqli_query($conn,$query);
    if($result)
    {
        $_SESSION['error'] = "Resit deleted successfully.";
        header('location: ./tutor_delete_page.php'); 
    }

查询确实运行了，$ temp不为空。但对数据库没有影响。请帮忙
