       geom_bar(stat = 'identity', position = 'dodge')

ggplot(data = mm, aes(x = group, y = value, fill = variable)) + 
       # `geom_col()` uses `stat_identity()`: it leaves the data as is.
       geom_col(position = 'dodge')
