通配符SSL子域格式

我之前使用此模式x.example.com来识别不同的服务器。我的通配符SSL证书没有问题。

最近我切换到了一个包含更多信息的新方案，例如：

a.b.c.example.com

现在浏览器告诉我：

You attempted to reach a.b.example.com, but instead you actually
reached a server identifying itself as *.example.com. This may be
caused by a misconfiguration on the server or by something more serious

为什么会这样？

我认为a.b.example.com与a-b.example.com相同。
