I have used this following code to display it in a formatted manner 

Spanned htmlSpan = Html.fromHtml(msgInfo.getmMsgText());        
mTxtView.setText(htmlSpan);][2]

但它没有识别标签，因此没有在新行中显示各行。（参见屏幕截图）

这是list of accepted tags。您的标签似乎没有在那里找到。
