使用join或不使用join进行查询？

我是sql的新手，

之间的区别是什么

select vehicle.plates, make, model 
from vehicle 
   join registration on registration.plates = vehicle.plates 
where country = 'Japan';

和

select vehicle.plates, make, model
from registration, vehicle
where registration.plates = vehicle.plates and country=’Japan’;

Answer 1

第一个查询符合ANSI标准，另一个查询不符合。

但是查询应该返回相同的结果。
