安装工件时* zip文件没有出现在本地仓库中

我有一些配置文件的项目，在运行maven install之后，我在目标目录中获得了* .zip存档。但是在我的本地回购中我只有pom文件。我认为这是因为pom.xml中有<packaging>pom</packaging>。我怎样才能在本地仓库获得* .zip文件？
