在您的情况下，如果您没有category- {slug} .php，则为特定类别显示的内容将是由category.php代码生成。如果你没有category.php，那么wordpress将读取archive.php等，直到index.php。

如果你想显示一个特定的循环，请确保你有正确文件中的代码和关于模板层次结构规则命名的文件，所以它的代码将在你希望它运行时运行。
