CodeProject有一个很棒的Windows shell extension tutorial。

首先，您使用的CLSID与原始示例源不同。也许你编辑它使它成为你自己的。确保使用的值与FileContextMenuExt类中的属性相同。
WiX的heat.exe似乎不支持codebase元素。也许假设是，由于您在机器范围内注册COM组件，您还可以将其放在机器范围的装配位置（即GAC）中。如果这样做，则不需要代码库。
heat file ...将生成除Codebase元素之外的所有内容，但我已经手动输入了该内容。您还有其他必需的注册条目*\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers。它是特定于应用程序的元素，因此无法生成。但是，你也手动输入了它。
最后，安装程序和explorer.exe必须具有相同的“bit-ness”。否则，安装程序可能会为32位explorer.exe创建注册表项，而64位explorer.exe将无法看到它们。要部署产品，您必须拥有安装程序的x86和X64版本。您可以在Wix/Product/Package元素中为包显式设置Platform。
