我遇到了同样的问题。我发现Mountain Lion错过了libxml-2.0.pc /usr/lib/pkgconfig文件中所提到的here。

确保安装libxml2之后：

brew install libxml2

我创建了建议的符号链接，允许我安装VisualRuby。

sudo ln -s /usr/local/Cellar/libxml2/2.9.0/lib/pkgconfig/libxml-2.0.pc /usr/lib/pkgconfig
