使用Rails 3，从Mongoid 2.x升级到Mongoid 3.x后，我的Heroku + MongoHQ设置停止工作。有趣的是，我的发展和测试框架和我的整个测试套件都通过了。

我也遇到了类似的错误，我将gem文件更改为包含ruby '1.9.3'，所有内容都按预期运行了。

编辑： @herb指出你需要最新版本的bundler才能工作（gem install bundler --pre）。否则，Gemfile中的ruby '1.9.3'将无效。

作为一种解决方法，从heroku配置硬编码uri似乎可以解决这个问题。
