如何压缩magento的扩展名

我有一个扩展准备在magento中使用但是当我压缩我的文件时magento显示以下错误：

CONNECT ERROR: Unsupported resource type

我尝试使用下一个命令压缩mac终端：

tar -zcvf 99minutos-2.0.1.tgz 99minutos-2.0.1

但是如果我从freegento下载扩展程序，我可以安装任何我想要的程序包。
