从JSP执行SQL查询

我有一个SQL查询：select name || 'hh' from table;

如何在JDBC中使用相同的语句？

String sql = "SELECT username || 'hh' from dba_users";   -----> not working
PreparedStatement stmt  = conn.prepareStatement (sql);
