 gem install mysql2 -- --with-mysql-config=~/.my.cnf --ruby=/usr/bin/ruby1.8

gem install mysql2 -- --with-mysql-config=/etc/my.cnf --ruby=/usr/bin/ruby1.8

没有运气同样的错误。

我没有运行rvm

sudo apt-get install libmysqlclient-dev

gem install mysql -- --with-mysql-config=/usr/local/mysql/bin/mysql_config

选项“with-mysql-config”指的是“mysql_config”工具，而不是配置文件。
