        print brainframe.fk_brainframe_parent  #it hit the database

现在，正如select_related文档中所解释的那样，它会立即获取相关对象，而不会再次访问数据库。但在我的情况下，brainframe.fk_brainframe_parent每次都会访问数据库。但它不应该因为我使用select_related获取数据。我在这里做错了吗？

您在select_related的通话中使用了模型的（小写）名称。而是使用字段的名称，例如Adjacency.objects.select_related('fk_brainframe_parent')。
